Our WMS is an advanced and mature software warehouse management system. Over the years, the system has been refined and expanded to include design features ensuring adaptability to different logistics processes in different warehousing situations. It is a flexible system that meets specific warehouse needs by applying the most suitable management strategy or a combination of strategies to maximise performance. As a result, it can be used by companies with very diverse business profiles and needs to successfully support small warehouses with core staff as well as extensive operations with a large workforce and high order volumes, as well as anything in between.

  • The system is used in both manual and highly automated warehouses.

Our warehouse management software is designed to handle all the logistics processes in the warehouse, whether manual or automated. Thanks to its flexibility, WMS is easily adaptable to the specific needs of warehouse automation and can be integrated into the overall framework of the existing warehouse management system.

We have implemented WMS in multiple projects in collaboration with numerous suppliers of automated systems. These projects included integration with automated installations, such as: automatic picking machines, automatic warehouses, system trucks, lift racks, sorters, automatic transport installations (conveyors, stacker cranes, and overhead cranes), measuring devices, scales, label applicators, etc.

  • The system is implemented in companies in most industries as a standard off-the-shelf solution or as a custom tool to accommodate specific client needs

Our system successfully supports distribution, production and e-commerce warehouses operated by companies in various industries, such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, refrigeration, electronics and electrical engineering, chemicals, paper, textiles, furniture and wood products, spare parts, office supplies, construction, interior furnishings, etc. It is also suitable for third-party logistics operators providing mainly outsourced FMCG services. In its standard version, WMS supports all the key warehouse processes for companies in most industries, such as the receipt of deliveries, including the inspection of goods, the formation of storage units and their entry into the various storage areas, as well as outbound processes, including order release planning, picking methods, forwarding support, outbound checks, shipping preparation (packaging, labelling, assembly of shipping units, etc.), and loading. Additional areas of support include other logistics processes such as stock-taking, returns, intra-warehouse transfers, cross-docking, etc.
The standard version of WMS software provides forklift traffic control. The extended version also features a number of additional modules and functionalities, such as dedicated functions for logistics operators (3PL services) and e-commerce companies, to support interface with courier companies, warehouse automation modules, flow-management modules for in-production goods(procurement and receipt from the assembly line, in-production transports and buffering), packaging and VAS, alerts (early warnings), emergency situation response, as well as web modules (for communication with warehouse contractors). These modules and features generally require additional, more detailed arrangements with the client. This is where logifact® WMS steps in with its option to provide dedicated warehouse software for particular warehouse types. Thanks to extensive data exchange interfaces, our warehouse system can work with many ERP systems. On the WMS-side, these interfaces have been standardised to a large extent, but have enough adaptability to accommodate specific client requirements when needed. The kind of interface between WMS and the warehouse automation control system depends in each case on the automation supplier. However, the extensive experience that comes with so many completed interface projects guarantees that WMS will always be properly integrated with the existing warehouse automatics.

  • The system is constantly being improved and developed in step with the ever-changing market conditions and customer expectations

We are currently implementing the sixth generation of our warehouse software. The directions of development for logifact® WMS are determined by the evolving market reality and the resulting client expectations. As new needs emerge and with the rise of new technologies, changes happen in the organisation of warehouse work, its capacity, method and scale. Therefore, not only do we ensure that WMS is able to address these changes, but we also actively create and implement new organisational solutions in our system.
