Online access to WMS
WMS access platform for contractors
The access platform, based on a web module, enables warehouse contractors to communicate directly logifact® WMS online.
systemu WMS access platform is an important extension of the system for 3PL (third-party logistics) providers used by contractors who do not use automatic data exchange interfaces with the WMS.
The platform is intended to improve the day-to-day customer service on the one hand, and provide a higher standard of service offered by contractors, on the other.
logifact® WWW provides storage contractors using the platform with:
- direct access to the data on their goods handled by the warehouse and contained in WMS, relevant to warehouse management,
- the possibility of initiating some of the operations in the warehouse system.
The main platform features available to users include:
- entry of delivery notes into WMS,
- entry of stock issue orders,
- preview of material movement and stock issue documents,
- preview of stock levels,
- access to historical data.
The ordering of web-supported warehouse operations does not require any time or labour on the part of the staff of the service provider, or the logistics operator. This is done directly by the contractor posting the order in WMS online, from a web browser. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, with contractors only having access to their own data.
The platform is built according to the SPA (single-page application) approach to ensure smooth user experience without reloading the website.
The Angular framework supported and developed by Google and the DevExpress component library were used in its development. The logifact® WMS platform is open to extensions and can therefore be easily enriched with custom features for use in individual warehouses.
